Mayday Parade:D

We went to town and just chilled had a McDonalds and played penis in the shopping centre it was great, then we got into the queue, and we were really close to the front it was brilliant!

We got in there, and there was like a row of people in front of us, that’s how close to the front we were! IT WAS AMAZING.

Blitz Kids came on first, and I i’d never listened to them but i quite liked the music, and they were all really fit. nose rings on boys. hhhhhhngggg. i high fived one of them not sure who.

Then it was Rocket to the Moon, and oh my gosh, I love them soooooo much they were INCREDIBLE. all my friends had never listened to them(silly people) and i was just singing along with only a few people rather loudley. Didn’t get a guitar pick but ho hum, georgia my friend got one though. Nick also grabbed my hand:D!

Then after much waiting Mayday Parade came on, and as expected were beyond brilliant.  We were so close to the stage we could see the setlist that they had stuck down it was great! They were awesome, and they came to the crowd loads, so I got to hold Derek’s hand about 5 times, and he let me hold his hand while he was holding the microphone. truley great. AND we met one of the Blitz Kids, Joe the lead singer, the one with the nose ring i hnnnng-ed at earlier. But i look really demented in the picture booooo. but he was really nice yaaaaaay. wish i’d got him to sign my arm.

Just gunna add that night to my best nights list.

this is about all time low concert last night, if you can be bothered to read go ahead but if not i’ll just let you know it was awesome and probs one of the best nights of my life.

we got there quite late when talithas mum and dad dropped us off and we got in the queue for about 45mins but we talked to the guys handing out leaflets and made loads of sex jokes and huddled for warmth so the time went by pretty quickly. anyway because of this we missed young guns because we were waiting in the ridiclously long queue. so annoyed and disappointed about that. we only heard one song. so suddenly georgia and tom just dissapear when we get inside to get t-shirts and im not really sure how we did it but when yellowcard was on we got right into the middle of the crowd near the front. it was sooooo much fun!!! i absolutley loved it, i mean lots of body contact and i touched people in places i didn’t think i would at this age but yanoe all part of the experience>:) (and i’m im not gunna complain about the boys i was pushed up against really). yellowcard were still playing and the crowd started surging properly now i was jumping around, pushing forward and having the best time but imogen wanted to go, talitha hurt her ankle and katie said she was about to have a panic attack so me and sophie had to get them out of there. we found georgia at the left side and she said tom had gone in the crowd. i was really mardy that i had to come out cus we had a really good spot with a good veiw but then i was just like get over it emma so i did. so i made my way back in the crowd with katie and georgia folloeing (imogen and talitha stood by the side, and sophie had gone in another way) just before all time low was on and got into the middle again and i did a load of girly sreaming (that i’m not proud of) that had given me a sore throat today(who cares). for the first five songs i just stayed in the same place then the girl next to us fainted and had to get taken out so there was more room so we pushed to th e right. then nest to us some guys started a ‘mosh pit’ i use the term loosley as they basically just ran around in a circle a few times and started pushing each other for a bit so me and katie went to join in as it was kinda tame but they stoppped as we got in there and i got pushed right to the front which i was not going to complain about!! i was soo annoyed just as i got to the front jack stopped touching peoples hands:( yeah then the set ended and i had to find everyone but they were just gr87654321!! i can’t even begin to explain.

things i regret last night:

• not being with tom in the concert cus all time low has always been our thing ever since we went out and we always planned the concert being together and i was just annoyed i wasn’t with him for even one part of it.
• not just staying with sophie cus she got to the front, she had the right idea and i totally should have followed her.
• but tbh i wouldnt have needed to follow sophie if i had just stayed in the middle the whole time! i kinda regret moving with my friends.
• wearing my sisters top i was so worried the sequins and beats were gunna fall of i had to put it in katies bag, then carry her bag. i guess that was only fair though and i did offer. but yeah wear something simple now i know for next time.
• i regret not leaving earlier and therefore we would not have missed young guns.
• not staying behind to meet the three bands.
• not having the balls to properly talk to the cute guy at the end of the show who protected me in the ‘mosh pit’ and winked at me at the end then dissapeared in the crowd.
• i regret taking money(i didn’t buy anything), my camera and phone cus they just got in the way. im not really sure if i regret taking videos and pictures or not. i just wanted to dance and enjoy it rather than worry about my camera.

On the sunday after the friday night show i was just in my room and i was putting my shoes away which were my converse i wore to all time low when something white fell out. so i looked down and found alex gaskarths plectrum. ithas basically made this year already!! i have no idea how it got in to my shoe but it’s my most prized possesion!!

in the second picture on the other side of the plectrum it says all time blow on it and you can’t really see but it says “al’s naughty plectrum” underneath :D!!
